Apollo Hospitals will begin administering Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V from the second week of June, the group mentioned at present.

In an announcement, Executive Vice-chairperson Shobana Kamineni of the Apollo Group of Hospitals mentioned that the group has accomplished administering a million vaccine doses throughout 80 places in India, prioritising frontline employees, high-risk inhabitants, and company workers.

Giving particulars about ramping up their immunisation programme, she mentioned: “In June, we will do a million every week and double that in July. We are on track to complete 20 million jabs by September this year.”
